What is OminPro?
- OminPro is a project focused on developing automated trading strategies designed for long-term operation with controlled risk. All strategies run automatically and are offered through the VT Markets copy-trading platform.
Is this a fully automated strategy?
- Yes. All trades are executed automatically by the system. Once connected via VT Markets, no manual trading or decision-making is required.
What type of strategy does OminPro use?
- The flagship strategy uses a conservative mean-reversion framework with gradual position building. It avoids martingale and unlimited averaging and focuses on controlled exposure and disciplined recovery.
What returns should I realistically expect?
- The strategies target steady growth. Typical expectations are approximately 20–30% annually ($200-$300) for OminPro AC Core and 50-70% ($500-$700) for OminPro AC CoreX, with periods of lower or flat performance possible.
Calculation is based on the $1000 reference account and 1x multiplier.
Can I scale with a larger account balance?
- Yes. Position sizing can be adjusted proportionally using copier multiplier in the strategy settings.
As a general guideline, a 1x multiplier is used per $1000 of account balance.
For example, a $2000 account may use 2x multiplier.
Note: Increasing the multiplier proportionally increases both potential profits and losses.
What is the maximum drawdown?
- The strategy is designed with a predefined drawdown limit. In extreme market conditions, a protective reset or Stop Loss may occur after approximately $125–$150 loss on the reference account depending on the strategy variant.
In rare market conditions, temporary deviations beyond this range may occur due to execution factors during periods of reduced liquidity or rapid price movement.
What is a reset and why does it happen?
- A reset or a Stop Loss is a protective mechanism. When triggered, all open positions are closed and the strategy restarts cleanly. It exists to prevent deeper drawdowns during abnormal market conditions.
How often do resets occur?
- Resets are expected to be rare for OminPro AC Core. OminPro AC CoreX caries more risk therefore reset or Stop Loss is an expected behaviour which may happen when the strategy finds itself under non favourable conditions. It remains in place as a strict risk control.
How long does it take to recover from a reset?
- On average, losses from a reset can be recovered within approximately 6 weeks for OminPro AC CoreX, depending on market conditions. It will take longer for OminPro AC Core since this strategy follows less risky path.
Is the risk proportional to my account balance?
- No. Risk is absolute, not proportional. All risk management and reset logic is based on the $1,000 reference account, not on the size of your individual account.
What happens if I join with a smaller account, such as $500?
- If a reset occurs, a copier using $500 will still experience a $125–$150 loss, because risk follows the reference account logic, not a percentage of the copier balance.
Why is risk not scaled proportionally?
- This design prevents disproportionate losses. If the reference account grows over time, reset thresholds do not increase. This protects smaller copiers from excessive drawdowns caused by a growing reference balance.
Does the strategy close trades at a loss during recovery?
- Yes. During recovery phases, the strategy may intentionally close some positions at a loss to reduce exposure, remove tail risk, and realign with the market. This behavior helps maintain low overall drawdown.
Is this a martingale or grid strategy?
- No martingale is used. Position building is controlled and limited, with predefined exposure constraints and no unlimited averaging.
Is performance tracked live?
- Yes. All performance is tracked live and transparently via Myfxbook using the same reference account that copiers follow.
What is the minimum balance required?
- The minimum balance to join is $500.
What balance is recommended?
- A balance of $1,000 or higher is recommended to align risk with the reference account and reduce the impact of potential resets.
Who is this strategy suitable for?
- OminPro AC Core strategy is suitable for users who value disciplined risk management, transparency, and long-term consistency over aggressive short-term gains.
- OminPro AC CoreX is targeted at users who understand drowdowns and have higher risk tolerance.
What are the strategy fees?
- Both strategies have 20% performance fee charged on a weekly basis. The fee is taken from your copy-trading account and is automatic. There are no fees if the strategy didn't accumulate any profits in the given week.
Is this suitable for beginners?
- Yes, provided beginners understand that trading involves risk and that losses, drawdowns, and resets are part of a disciplined trading process.
Are profits guaranteed?
- No. Trading involves risk, and losses are unavoidable. No guarantees of profit or fixed income are provided.
